My dream is to create a welcoming environment that values excellence; a place where students and actors feel loved, safe, and accepted. Over the past 18 years, Cavod has grown to over 800 enrollments and has expanded our offerings well beyond what I could have even hoped or imagined! In fact, our 2022-2023 school year has a one million dollar operating budget! As Cavod grows, so does the opportunity for our financial partners. Cavod is like a second home to me. It’s a safe haven for me where I can go to reconnect with people and with Christ. It has been a place of great growth, safety, and learning for me. Since leaving home, it has been one of my favorite places to come home to, and the people there have helped me through so many struggles, like homesickness, anxiety, and injury. Impact of Cavod

Our vision for missions and outreach continues to be a huge part of our focus in the summers. A team of teachers and young adults are sent out to host Arts Camps for under-privileged children & teens in international countries. We have been to Aruba, Amsterdam, South Africa 3 times, Switzerland, Brazil 2 times and Puerto Rico.

Our summer camps have exploded as we offer a place at Cavod to explore the arts, build lasting friendships and include devotions and worship.

Cavod was founded in 2004 offering 10 classes a week.
Our continual growth led to currently having 120 classes per week; adding many different genres and levels of dance, such as Jazz, Modern, Tap and Acro, along with expanding our Music classes and Acting classes.
Citylight Dance Theatre, our ministry team, was birthed in 2008
Cavod Theatre was founded in August, 2010
In 2019, our Adopt a Student program was launched. Thanks to our donors, we presently give over $50,000 a year in scholarships to students who would not be able to afford classes.
Cavod Ballet Theatre was birthed in 2019
Cavod Ensemble was added in 2019
Ornate Dance Theatre, our pre-professional, daytime trainee program was started in 2021
We added a second location in Manheim, PA, in 2021

Opportunities to Give

We believe that there is strength and power in partnering with others who also have a vision to see communities changed through the use of the performing arts. As a non-profit organization we seek to connect with individuals, organizations, foundations, and corporations who desire to make a difference in the world through this powerful medium. There are opportunities for giving through annual pledges, individual sponsorships, scholarships, one-time giving, special project grants, playbill sponsors, and funding for the dance company.

Citylight Dance Theatre

$4,000 to support this amazing team that does performances in churches, schools, at Water Street Rescue Mission, outreaches, in parks etc.
Chicken BBQ Fundraiser

$6,000 for expenses of the BBQ, so the entire bbq is profit.
Cavod’s Annual Fundraising Banquet

Sponsorship opportunities are available for this great fundraiser, where we celebrate and raise funds for what God has done! Total Goal $120,000
Open House

To cover expenses for our annual open houses in both locations, New Holland & Manheim – $8,000
